Christine has been working out with us for close to a year now. We're very proud of her progress and incredible dedication to getting back in shape. Here is what she has to say.
"I heard about CrossFit in March last year and thought this type of exercise was not for me: an overweight woman, approaching 50. I wasn’t always heavy, however, I had gotten into a tough spot with a huge weight gain in my late 40’s. So I thought, why not just do it?
I started with the Executive Fitness Program in April 2009 & have been a regular member since September working out at least 4x/week. I’ve encouraged several friends to join and they’re just as hooked on CrossFit as I am.
Every aspect of CrossFit has helped me dial-back the weight gain and restore my overall health and happiness: from the expert coaching of Bill and Staci to the commitment members have for each other’s success.
As Bill says, 'The proof is in the pudding', I think you can see my proof in these photos and I’ll be back on this page with more changes later this year when I turn 50. There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going—I like where I’m headed.
I am an artist and graphic designer and live on the near Westside in Cleveland with my artist-husband George and my feisty 91-year-old mom Bertha who sometimes lives with us too."
You can find Christine working out with us four to five times per week. If you haven't met her yet, please stop and say hi.

I love CrossFit and I couldn't have transformed without it. Thanks Bill and Staci!!!!
Thanks Christine, you are great!
Thanks even more for the great message you sent Staci and me.
Here's our thing, you work hard and we work hard to help you. If you don't care, we don't care. It's as simple as that.
You've seen it up close. Anyone who really wants to improve and is willing to work hard gets as much attention and support from us as we can muster up. Others who don't give a shit, well...they quit or go back to the globo gym where they are coddled.
Keep it up girl, you're doing awesome work!
This is outstanding - keep up the great work!!!
Christine,
Thank you for sharing. You inspire me to keep up the hard work. The before and after photos are motivation enough!
Your fellow Crossfitter,
Natalie
